Bubble Text Generator
Letters enclosed in circles for a fun, bubbly appearance.
Bubble text turns every letter into a circled character — Ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ — giving your words a soft, rounded, playful look that reads like little balloons in a row. It's one of the most recognizable "enclosed" font effects, popular for cute usernames, dreamy aesthetic posts, and anywhere you want text that feels light and friendly rather than bold or edgy.

How Bubble Text Works
Each letter is swapped for its pre-made "circled" twin from the Enclosed Alphanumerics Unicode block. Uppercase A–Z map to the circled capitals starting at U+24B6 (Ⓐ, Ⓑ, Ⓒ…), lowercase a–z map to the circled small letters starting at U+24D0 (ⓐ, ⓑ, ⓒ…), and digits become circled numbers (① through ⑨, with ⓪ for zero). These are genuine standalone Unicode characters — not an ordinary letter with a ring drawn on top — which is why the circles render cleanly and never overlap the way stacked combining marks can. Spaces, punctuation, and symbols have no circled equivalents, so they pass through unchanged.
Tips for Using Bubble Text
- Use bubble text on short strings — names, single words, or a few words — since long paragraphs of circled letters get hard to read quickly.
- Lowercase bubble letters (ⓐⓑⓒ) look softer and more 'cute,' while uppercase (ⓐⒷⒸ) reads bolder and more like a label, so pick the case that matches your mood.
- Because circled letters are slightly wider than normal text, leave a space or two around bubble words so they don't crowd nearby emoji or symbols.
Bubble Text Compatibility
Bubble letters use long-standing Enclosed Alphanumerics characters that display reliably on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac, and across Instagram, Discord, TikTok, Facebook, and most browsers. Circled digits and lowercase letters are very widely supported; a small number of older devices or unusual fonts may show a circled letter slightly thinner or in a fallback typeface, but they almost never break into empty boxes. Screen readers may read the underlying letter or skip the circling, so avoid bubble text for essential information meant to be heard.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do my spaces, numbers, or punctuation not turn into bubbles?
Letters and digits have circled versions in Unicode, so they convert. Spaces, commas, exclamation points, and most symbols simply don't have a bubble counterpart, so they stay as-is. Numbers 0–9 do convert into circled digits (①②③… and ⓪ for zero).
Is bubble text actually an image or a special font I have to install?
Neither. Each bubble character is a real Unicode character, just like a normal letter or emoji. You copy and paste the actual text, so it works anywhere that accepts Unicode without installing any font or app.
What's the difference between this and the 'bubble filled' style?
This style uses outlined (hollow) circles around each letter — ⓐⓑⓒ. Bubble filled uses solid dark circles with the letter knocked out in white, giving a heavier, higher-contrast look. Same idea, opposite shading.
Will bubble letters work in my Instagram bio and Discord name?
Yes. Both Instagram bios and Discord nicknames accept these circled Unicode characters, and they're a popular choice for cute, eye-catching handles. Just paste the result — no extra formatting is needed.
