Platform Compatibility Guide
See which fancy text styles work on your favorite platforms
How Unicode Compatibility Works
Our fancy text generator uses Unicode characters that look like different fonts. While these characters are standardized, not every platform displays them the same way. Some apps have limited font support, which can cause certain characters to appear as boxes (โก) or question marks (?).
The compatibility table below shows how well each style works across popular platforms. We regularly test these to keep the information accurate, but platform updates may occasionally affect compatibility.

Platform-Specific Tips
Most Unicode styles work well in bios and captions. For stories, keep text shorter as some styles may not render in text overlays. Bold and Cursive are the most reliable choices.
Instagram Fonts โDiscord
Discord has excellent Unicode support. Almost all styles work in messages, usernames, and server names. Zalgo text is particularly popular for creating spooky or glitchy effects in Discord.
Discord Fonts โTwitter / X
Twitter supports most Unicode styles in tweets, bios, and display names. Keep in mind that styled text counts toward your character limit just like regular text. Bold and Italic are popular choices.
Bold Generator โFacebook has decent Unicode support in posts and comments. Some advanced styles like Cursive may not display correctly on older devices. Stick to Bold, Italic, or Underline for best results.
Facebook Fonts โWhatsApp supports Unicode text in messages and status updates. The recipient's device mattersโif they have an older phone, some characters might not display. Basic styles work universally.
Cursive Generator โGaming
Games like Free Fire, PUBG, and Fortnite often allow Unicode characters in display names. Each game has different restrictions, so test before committing. Symbols from our library work great for clan tags.
Gaming Names โTroubleshooting Common Issues
Characters showing as boxes (โก)
This means the viewing device doesn't have a font that supports those characters. Try a different style, or use more common styles like Bold or Italic that have wider font support.
Text looks different after pasting
Each platform renders Unicode characters using its own fonts. The characters are the same, but the exact appearance may vary. This is normal and expected behavior.
Some characters didn't convert
Many Unicode styles only include letters A-Z. Numbers, punctuation, and special characters often stay unchanged. This is a limitation of the Unicode standard, not our generator.
Style was rejected by the platform
Some platforms filter certain Unicode characters to prevent abuse. Gaming platforms are particularly strict. If your styled text is rejected, try a simpler style or fewer special characters.
